On Behalf of the NBHPI, NOF Submits Comment Letter to Inform U.S. Senate’s Special Committee on Aging’s Annual Report Focused on Falls and Fall Prevention

The National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF), on behalf of NBHPI, is pleased to respond to the U.S. Senate’s Special Committee on Aging’s Annual Report.

NOF strongly agrees with the committee that a thoughtful analysis of and search for policy solutions to the problem of falls among older Americans must include an examination of bone health, osteoporosis, and bone fractures.

Our submission includes answers to the questions proposed by the committee which include reporting and follow up, tools and resources, Medicare considerations, evidence-based practices, and post fracture care.
