Obesity affects bone health through a variety of mechanisms, including body weight and bone formation/resorption. The briefing will feature a panel dicussion on how obesity affects bone health, the crisis of bone health and obesity in the U.S., how to protect your bones and how to address obesity, and legislative solutions. This event is open to the public, including policymakers, healthcare professionals, advocates, and patients. A boxed lunch will be provided for attendees.
