FY22 LHHS Appropriations Request Submitted on Behalf of Leading Aging, Women's Health, Caregiving and Bone Health Organizations

The following organizations have submitted a request for the FY22 Labor HHS appropriations bill on behalf of the 54 million Americans with osteoporosis or low bone mass and the two million Medicare beneficiaries who suffer an osteoporotic bone fracture each year.

  • National Osteoporosis Foundation

  • Alliance for Aging Research

  • American Bone Health

  • Caregiver Action Network

  • HealthyWomen

  • National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare

  • National Spine Health Foundation

  • Society for Women's Health Research

The request provides several significant steps that would both lower fracture risks and reduce taxpayer and family health care costs.
